For those that are going down the CCDE path, I took a 1 day mini CCDE class.
You can see the comments on my blog: www.ccie12203.wordpress.com/
Please send me a PM if you have other experiences with CCDE training.

Hi ,
I have configured Auto Qos and it has generated the default template of class-map and policy-map , I want to change it as per my requiremenet. Is it possible to change it without touching the current policy. A friend sujjest something like to create another class-map with same name but with trust keyword. I tried but there is no such option. Can any one help me on this issue please.
Thanks. Raj.

If I set up NTP between R1 and R2 it works fine (verified by show ntp status)

However, when I then introduce authentication, it no longer works!!!! Even after a reload!! ANY IDEAS???
Note: Key is identical at both ends!

Hello GS,
Is there any ’soft’ way to synchronize NTP peers without reloading?
Cheers, RP

Dear All,
Its OT .i am working for one project and facing very basic problem between two Foundry netiron switches .I have successfully completed many foundry projects but with BigIron . My two foundry netiron switches are connected to each other by direct 1G Fastethernet cable .It has 20 port 10/100/1000 ethernet module . I have connected it by cross cable and assigned ip address on interfaces directly .it has basic configuration but I can not ping it . If i check show arp it shows be arp value for next device but cant ping no access-list .It is directly connectd link . I checked post operation -everything fine I tried different interfaces with same config same problem .If I tried 10G to 10g connectivity same problem . but interface is UP and LINE Protocol is also
If anybody has any idea please help me .
Thanks Prashant

Trying to understand the usage of backdoor command in BGP.
This is my Lab-setup. With the neigbors-loopbacks configured as backdoor, I would expect to see CE7 lo on CE8 as a RIP-route. But I still get the eBGP route vie PE.
Dear All,
Can anybody guide me .if I bought below items .I can complete CCIE R/S Practice on IE and Narbik or IP expert workbook
